This memorial website was created to remember our dear angel Holly Renae Proffitt who was born on October 3, 1979 in Johnson City, Tennessee, and passed away on October 21, 2002. You will live forever in our memories and hearts.
Holly had a single car accident while going to school on Monday morning, March 11, 1996. She suffered a severe closed head injury and was not expected to live. She was hospitalized for over nine months where she fought and battled through her injury. She developed a seizure disorder as a result of the head trauma and was in rehabilitation over six years. She was making so much progress in her rehabilitaion when on Saturday, October 12, 2002, she suffered massive seizures. She was not able to pull through this time and slipped away to heaven on Monday morning, October 21, 2002. Our lives will never be the same without her. Our hearts are broken in a million pieces.
